Accessibility Statement

Last updated August 16, 2026

America Royal Bank is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all our customers, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to manage their finances independently, and we are continually working to improve the experience for everyone who uses our website and mobile app.

Our commitment

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. As we release new features, we review them against accessibility best practices before they reach customers, and we periodically audit existing parts of the platform to catch and correct issues that may have been missed.

Conformance standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which help make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. Conformance is an ongoing target rather than a fixed achievement, since new content and features are added regularly.

Accessibility features

Some of the ways we work to make our platform accessible include:

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background across the interface
  • Descriptive labels on interactive elements for screen reader users
  • Logical heading structure and page landmarks to support navigation
  • Text that resizes without loss of content or functionality
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation

Assistive technology

Our platform is designed to be used with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnification software, and speech recognition software. We test key flows, such as signing in, opening an account, and managing transfers, with keyboard-only navigation to help ensure they remain usable without a mouse or touch input.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations are tracked internally and prioritized for remediation. If you encounter a barrier that isn't listed here, please let us know using the feedback options below so we can investigate.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us through the Contact page so we can address them. Please describe the page or feature you were using, the assistive technology involved (if any), and the nature of the issue, so we can investigate as quickly as possible.

Ongoing efforts

  • Regular accessibility audits of our online banking platform
  • Keyboard navigation support across our site and app
  • Screen reader compatible labels and descriptions
  • Staff training on accessible design and development practices
